Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector is a moisturizing highlighter that you can either wear alone, or mix with foundation. It's meant to reflect light in all directions which gives a more even-toned appearance to your skin. As of right now, they offer three colors: Rose Shimmer #00, Champagne Shimmer #02, and Bronze Shimmer #03.
I've been using the #00 shade (rose shimmer) for years now. It's very similar to mac's strobe cream but it's texture is a little thicker. I always thought that the rose shimmer and strobe cream were pretty interchangeable and therefore, rose shimmer was nothing special.
HOWEVER...I recently purchased the #02 Champagne Shimmer from Apothica. I wore it today by itself (see previous post for fotd) and my skin looked FLAWLESS.
